CANADA’S POLITICAL IMAGE – CAN IT STAND UP TO THE LIGHT?

I chose to come and live in Canada over 30 years ago, and honestly, there is no doubt I made the right decision. I am very proud of it – the reason why I bring to the table for my reader’s a cruel reality that needs immediate attention and relentless efforts to resolve it. Not because I am a negative person like some weak people might mistakenly think, but because I am strong and confident. I believe in the truth and I know this country can be even a better example to the rest of the world that badly needs it if we all put our hearts and efforts into it. I have full faith in our society, our multiculturalism, our human rights, our integration policies, our education system, our international humanitarian efforts, and our freedom of expression, among many others. It feels very nice to be the example to many other countries, so when I detect a problem, I blog about it in search of a solution, so here is my blog:

CANADIAN HUMAN RIGHTS CONUNDRUM

Canada is a great country and admired throughout the world for many reasons. One of the most important reasons is that on Canadian soil, the Human Rights for every human being tend to be respected. At least, that is the impression we portray abroad and the feeling many Canadians have, including me.

CAN SPACE TOURISM SAVE OUR PLANET?

In the past few years, the competition amongst a few private companies offering to take their clients to space has become more intense and even fierce. Billions of dollars are being invested to gain the prestigious title of the first commercial company to offer a round-trip ticket to space.

YIKES, IT’S REAL … AND IT’S GETTING WORSE!

Global warming is a natural phenomenon the planet has gone through during its life cycle since it was created over 4.5 billion years ago. Regardless, I have three questions for my readers below. First, here is a brief background:

IS THE LIBERAL PARTY PROMOTING INTEGRATION OR SEPARATION IN CANADA?

To the eyes of many Canadians, since the Liberal Government, and specifically, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau got into power, their sense of safety and security regarding peace and harmony in our society without threats from abroad (and now even from within) has been dwindling, though it has done it slowly. But what it is even more worrisome is that it seems the average Canadian is failing to notice it or react to it, especially in medium and small size cities. Now, if there are people that actually do see it, they do not dare to say anything, or they are construed as aggressive, bully, or racist.

CANADIAN GANGS ON THE RISE …. WHY?

Canada has been a secure and peaceful nation envied by many countries around our globe, until recently.
In the average European country, the rise in the number of gangs is mainly due to a high rate of unemployment or to delicate immigration open door policies that have not been planned, studied, and implemented properly.

DECARBONIZATION VS. TRANS MOUNTAIN PIPELINE

I need to ask the reader a specific question, but first I need to describe the following scenario currently taking place. The air we breathe has no borders. What happens in the Congo’s rainforest or in the Russian Taiga, sooner or later will end up affecting the air we breathe. The same philosophy and laws of nature apply to any country in the world. Do our politicians and some groups of indigenous people understand this concept properly? Let me explain and make my point.

WHEN THE GOVERNMENT TURNS ITS BACK ON ITS PEOPLE

The average Canadian is too busy to pay attention to certain social and economic issues, which are pushing their country into future social unrest, gang violence and even into a potential recession. Why? The average Canadian, in general, is working hard just trying to cover immediate basic needs, pay bills, and keep up with inflation. I, therefore, want to bring to the attention of my readers a very important aspect that is usually not on the radar of people’s immediate concerns:

‘FORD’ MORE YEARS – REALLY?

Social Mediocrity:

Astonishingly, Doug Ford has been voted as Ontario’s PC leader. But hey, uninformed people with short-term memory always elect the wrong leaders, so they get the “leaders” they ultimately deserve, so let them suffer in their sea of ignorance and distorted faith and illusions.
To the eyes of millions of Canadians, Rob Ford left a legacy of undisputed misconduct, drug abuse, and he is the antithesis of a true leader. But his family has always been very well connected, politically and in the local business community within the Province of Ontario. This is another reason why many people fear them, though not limited to this fact only, of course.
